Terms of Use

1. By using this service you agree to its Terms and Conditions outlined below and agree to be legally bound by them. This means that if you do not agree with any statement here, you should not use PriceMarx.
2. You agree to use PriceMarx only for the purpose of obtaining a fair market value of legally traded merchandise. You agree not to use it for any other purpose, including, but not limited to collecting market data, soliciting sales, etc.
3. You understand that the fair market value estimate provided by PriceMarx is only an estimate and does not constitue a contract between PriceMarx and you or anyone else to sell or buy the merchandise for that, or any other price.
4. You explicitly agree not to hold PriceMarx, Semantic Labs LLC and any of their subsidiaries and affiliates liable for any damages resulting from the use of this service.
5. You agree not to use PriceMarx service to perform any activities that are illegal in your jurisdiction, as well as those that contradict the Laws of the State of Maryland, USA, State of Virginia, USA and Province of Ontario, Canada, as well as any US or Canadian Federal Laws.
6. You agree not to use PriceMarx to facilitate trade of illegal weapons, illegal drugs, child pornography, any video, audio, printed and electronic materials that incite or promote racial, religious or any other form of hatred, or any other illegal material or substance.
7. You agree not to resell or redistribute the PriceMarx service or any data obtained from and through any of the PriceMarx services or applications to anyone outside your organization or household for any purpose without our explicit permission. Should you need to redistribute the data obtained through PriceMarx, please contact us to obtain such a permission.
8. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer any of the PriceMarx intellectual property.
9. You agree not to use PriceMarx as a back door to merchants' Web sites.
10. You agree not attempt to access the PriceMarx Web site with any automated software. This includes bots, scrapers, worms and anything else that accesses the web site without every query being initiated by a human user. We reserve the right to employ any technical and legal means to stop such forms of access to the Web site.
11. Should you have a legitimate need to obtain data from PriceMarx in an automated way, you can use our API. Please contact us to obtain the API documentation and an access key. By using the PriceMarx API you agree to be bound by any additional agreements provided to you together with the access key.
12. This agreement may be ammended by us at any point in time in the future without prior notice. You agree to be bound by the terms of the new agreement from the moment it is posted on the PriceMarx web site. Should you not agree with the new terms, your sole remedy will be discontinuation of use of PriceMarx.

Collection of Personal Information

1. At this point we do not collect any personal information about our users. We may, however, use cookies - small files stored by your browser on your computer that may allow us to distinguish you from other users. In simple words, we can tell queries submitted by user A from queries submitted by user B, but we cannot tell who A and B are.
2. We may collect IP addresses of computers that submit queries to PriceMarx for statistical and law enforcement purposes. Simply put, IP addresses do not identify users, they identify computers and mobile devices at a given moment in time. Only your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or Mobile Service Provider have access to the information that connects you with the IP address of your device - and they do not share it with us.
3. We do not share any personal information we collect about our users with anyone else, unless required by law. We may, however, share or sell aggregated statistics that does not identify you individually in any form.
4. These terms may be amended by us at any point in time in the future without prior notice. You agree to be bound by the new terms from the moment it is posted on the PriceMarx web site. Should you not agree with the new terms, your sole remedy will be discontinuation of use of PriceMarx.
